Power Zone Equipment was contacted by a company that was involved in a major horizontal boring project to deliver fiber optic cables from Oregon, USA to Australia. The company had acquired an engine driven pump package system that needed to be completely rebuilt. They also needed a custom unload/load design specifically for Australia. Greg Sanchez breaks down the details of the project that included a complete rebuild of the CAT Engines, the Gardner Denver Pumps, and Gearboxes.
This project utilized both Power Zones’s engineering department, rebuilding capabilities, part replacement, and their testing facility to ensure the package was delivered fully tested, ready for service and compatible with the environment it was required to operate in.
